What to expect

At your first appointment, Dr. David will ask a number of questions to clarify how your spine is limiting you. Once all the relevant information is gained, Dr. David will complete a chiropractic examination that involves testing your reflexes and flexibility. Additionally, standard neurological, orthopaedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as necessary.

If X-rays are required in addition to your physical assessment, Dr. David offers diagnostic imaging at Bays Chiropractic. This ensures that the most effective recovery plan is developed by visualising the spinal anatomy, and also screens for any serious spinal conditions. Most are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In many cases, patients can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

At your second appointment, Dr. David will provide you with a report detailing your history, goals, spinal examination results, and X-rays. This will be discussed with you and any questions you may have will be answered. A diagnosis and recovery plan specific to you will be established. Recommendations will be made on how to make the most out of your care, and the plan for your recovery will begin with a spinal adjustment.
